Born and raised in Boca Raton, Florida, Shannon is the oldest of three children, so she learned early on how to make her voice heard. Today, people call her a social butterfly. Fortunately for Shannon, it’s a job requirement!

Over the past 20 years, Shannon has held a variety of positions at Publix Super Markets, Inc, including company spokesperson. In 2012, she began her dream job as Director of Customer Care and Social Media. In this role, Shannon navigates the leading edge of social media innovation and determines how it can best benefit Publix and its customers. She also leads a team of customer care professionals who provide Publix’s signature premier service beyond store walls.

When she’s not working, Shannon and her husband enjoy camping, playing outdoors and attending local sporting events with their two children. And her passion for being engaged in her community means you also can find her reading to young children, serving food to the homeless or volunteering at her children’s school. Her life is pretty busy, but she wouldn’t change a thing — although she could use a little more sleep!
