Useful Social Media - Corporate Social Media Best Practice

About Us

Useful Social Media was set up in the December of 2009. We're a company who produce business intelligence products designed to help big businesses use social media better.

We're best known for our Corporate Social Media Summits - Which have taken place in New York (twice), San Francisco and London. We're growing - and this year have a further 4 new events and many more planned for 2012.

We also have a blog, write white papers and try to release podcasts and other content created by our conferences.

There are currently six of us in the team:

Nick is the founder of Useful Social Media and his role is basically to ensure that the company produces products that are useful for you - the corporate social media practitioner. Nick cannot dance, however hard he tries.

Harry leads the North American Team and is masterminding our leading event. He is a keen sportsman, with a deep love of football (soccer) although is coming around to American Football...slowly. For those of who like a good meal, Harry makes a mean Sunday Roast.

Brian is the newest member of the Useful Social Media team, and is our first Conference Organizer at our new US office. He is currently putting together our first Corporate Social Commerce Summit in Boston. He is a talented musician (unconfirmed), and loves sports and comedy.

Hayley is our latest conference producer and is working on our first crisis reputation show. Hayley enjoys extreme motor sports and long walks in the countryside.

Oliver works in business development for Useful Social Media, and helps look after companies looking for branding and sponsorship opportunities. Oliver loves American Football and is a massive Bears fan. He also claims to hit a golfball off a handicap of 5, though we don't believe him.

Aaron works in business development, and also works on how other companies can get involved with our conferences and reports for branding and sponsorship opportunities. He is blackbelt in karate and counts FatBoy Slim as a 'close personal friend.' We are not so sure about either.
